About Me

Dr. Danielle Granville Johnson
I decided to write this to explore attitudes to guns and mental health in this country. I strongly believe that we cannot craft a meaningful response to the violence in our country unless we address both contributing factors - and look for others that may not be immediately evident. Above all, I simply feel compelled to say something - to stand up against the senseless massacres that happen far too frequently in this country I love. I work in the human rights field in Washington, D.C. I hold a B.A. in Political Science from Boston College; a masters in Comparative Government from Oxford University; and a PhD in Politics from Oxford University.
